Cunard welcomes back an exclusive series of Culinary Residencies next year as two Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux brings his iconic former restaurant Le Gavroche to guests on Queen Anne and Queen Mary 2.
During the spectacular sailings around the Norwegian Fjords, Chef Michel will bring the flavours of the region on board and infuse them into a signature tasting menu at the special residency, Le Gavroche at Sea*. Guests will have the chance to settle in for a memorable evening where every dish unlocks a new dimension of flavour.
There will also be a tempting array of events led by Chef Michel on the voyages, with an opportunity for guests to hear more about his life and work (and even ask him a question or two) and watch him showcase his culinary talents during a live cooking demonstration.
Chef Michel will bring Le Gavroche to life on board alongside Executive Chef Rachel Humphrey, who worked at the iconic restaurant from 1996 when she joined the team as an apprentice, and identical twins Ursula and Silvia Perberschlager, familiarly known as ‘The Sisters’. The Sisters are much-loved familiar faces for patrons of Le Gavroche, known for their effortless charm, expert efficiency, and passion for food, drink, and hospitality.
Chef Michel and his team have recently disembarked Queen Mary 2 to move across to Queen Anne for this month’s residency and will return to Queen Anne for their final voyage of the year on 1 September. We caught up with Chef Michel about his time on board so far:
“Working with the culinary team has been a joy, their enthusiasm and passion is inspiring. I love every moment on board Queen Mary 2 and Queen Anne and being able to take Le Gavroche at Sea to showcase some of the great classic dishes is a dream come true for me.”
Michel Roux will be sailing on the following voyages in 2025:

Queen Anne
