New Graduate Cadet programme

Did you know we help hundreds of people each year start their career at sea though our in-house Cadet programme? And we’re about to welcome even more aboard with the launch of our new Engineer Graduate Cadetship programme. 

Our Cadet programme is a pipeline for future fleet talent, supporting Deck, Engine and Electro-Technical Cadets through the HND (Higher National Diploma), Foundation Degree, Scottish Diploma and Honour Degree routes.  

Cadets can choose to complete their course at a number of well-established and respected maritime colleges, with practical experience on Cunard ships and those of sister-brand, P&O Cruises.

With the launch of our new Engineer Graduate Cadetship programme (available at South Shields Marine School and Warsash Maritime Academy), we’re able to fast-track those with an engineering qualification (either mechanical or electrical) to gain their Engineering Officer of the Watch Certificate of Competency.
