Onboard HR Manager

The HR Manager is responsible for delivering the ship’s people plan. They are the ship’s business partner, working with crew and officers at all levels to ensure the ship delivers on its business and people objectives.

The HR Manager is also the ship’s employee relations specialist, ensuring that the onboard teams deliver performance management and other life cycle elements in line with the company’s established procedures.

Reporting directly to the Captain and part of the Senior Management Team, the HR Manager uses their professional skills to shape and influence business decisions. They also lead a small team which includes the Crew Services Manager, Learning and Development Officer and Crew Welfare Officer.
