Onboard HR Manager Overview

The HR Manager is responsible for delivering the ships people plan. They are the ships business partner who will work with crew and officers at all levels to ensure the ship delivers on its business and people objectives. The HR Manager is also the ships employee relations specialist and will ensure that the onboard teams deliver performance management and other life cycle elements in line with the companies established procedures. Reporting directly to the Captain and part of the Senior Management Team, the HR Manager will use their professional skills to shape and influence business decisions. The Onboard HR Manager leads a small team which includes the Crew Services Manager and the Onboard Trainer.
